I was just putting together my meal plan for the week now that the holidays are over, and wondered if you all had any good recipes you liked or wanted to try!

This Saturday I'll be making Greek Lemon Chicken and Potato Bake, which is a FANTASTIC and easy one pot dish. = w =

I have a recipe and this is from observing my mum

Ingredients
- Chicken Stock
- Chinese White cabbage
- Carrot (add other veg if you want)
- One meat of your choice (chicken, bacon, spam are my favs and proven to taste good)
- Now either rice cakes, rice, noodles or skip this one

Steps:
1. Cut up all the ingredients to your preferred size
2. Fried the meat
3. Dump them all in one pot with Chicken Stock plus a bit of water
4. Wait till everything is cooked through and the soup is reduced a bit further
5. Eat it

O uO) b
EXTRA: I add soy sauce when it doesn't taste salty enough, or even fish sauce, but this is just one pot of mix em up so feel free to experiment on this

when u mom com home and make hte spagheti

What's Cookin', Good Lookin'? Tumblr_nydng10lef1uocbmho1_250

THIS IS A POST ABOUT HOW TO MAKE NOT SPAGHETTI but i rly wanted to meme pls dont judge

anyway jay's not terribly comprehensive guide on how to make SUPER  YUMMY CHEESEBURGERS

ok so what you're gonna need are these things:
-ya buns (potato rolls are best)
-thinly sliced boar's head sharp wisconsin cheddar (srsly tho nice and thin slices we grillin burgers not tastin wine)
-clearfield american cheese, also thinly sliced!
-butter
-salt & pepper
-ground beef with an 80/20 fat ratio! Works best if you make the patties yourself
-a grill to lIGHT EM UP UP UP, LIGHT EM UP UP UP

directions!
1. take your beef and roll it into balls, however many you intend to make burgers out of. squish em down a little bit to give them that cylinder shape! i tend to try to make each burger the size of my palm.
2. bring those bad boys outside and light your grill! make sure it's all nice and clean and the burnt stuff is scraped off first tho
3. put aforementioned patties on aforementioned grill. put grill hood down.
4. open your mind's third eye and meditate for approximately 5 minutes, give or take like 4 (basically i wing it)
5. when you think the burgers are done on that side, flip 'em over and repeat step four.
6. you can put an optional flick of salt and/or pepper on ur patties. i like to, but not everyone does.
7. while your patties are cooking, toss your butter in a small bowl and melt it down (microwave is fine.) you're gonna want to fill the bowl and may have to do this a few times depending on the number of burgers you're serving.
8. take your rolls and drop them in the butter bowl to get a nice soak. NOW, i should mention that im a gluttonous lard and used to eat sticks of butter for fun as a child so i like a lot of butter. If you're not as avid a fan, you can instead drizzle some of the butter on the inside of your bun. Just make sure it's on the part that's gonna touch the patty!!
9. when your burgers are grilling and look to be near completion, slap a slice of that american and cheddar on each burger. So every one should have two slices of cheese on it. Let it melt down a little bit.
10. Take your cheese patties off the grill and slide them into those butter buns.
11. If your grill has a heating rack thingy, put the burgers up there and let them toast just a leeeeettle bit for warm buns with just the lightest crisp.
12. take burgers off grill
13. put burgers directly into mouth (warning: maybe hot)
14. all done!! make whoever you cooked for do the clean up. :>

SOME NOTES:
-im very plain jane about my burgers and only like cheese on it, but you're free to stack lettuce, tomato, ketchup, etc. on your burger after it's completely done with the grill. Idk ratios for that tho bc vegetables are for sinners and michelle obama, and they're not allowed within ten feet of my cooking
-make sure the burgers are thoroughly cooked!! i like to make mine medium with it being just barely light grey all the way through.
-FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. DO NOT. DO NOT USE YOUR SPATULA AND PRESS DOWN ON THE PATTIES TO MAKE THEM COOK. It takes all the delicious juices and presses them out to plummet into the deep abyss just like your hopes and dreams.
-if necessary, open the grill and spatula poke your burgers a lil bit to see how done they are. you can cut into 'em a little to check that out, too, but be careful not to seppuku ur beef into like five different pieces.

and that's that!! the end result should like something like this
