Fear Liath

Animal Name: Fear Liath
Location: Most popularly in the snowy mountains around Grenhime, but infrequently found anywhere with snow
Effects/Uses: The Fear Liath's snowy aura extends several yards around it, and anyone coming near becomes vastly confused, inducing anything from mild panic to outright rage. The Liath uses its aura of confusion to isolate targets by having them kill off their mates, or die to the frost by getting confused.
Description: A light grey, ape-like figure, or so they say- those who've identified the Liath generally leave before they see any more than a whirlwind of snow and a dark shadow hurling towards them. An adult Liath is seven feat tall at the very least, with bright piercing eyes that are one of the only indications that the snowstorm you're trapped in isn't just a snowstorm.
Behavior:The Liath is generally solitary until it finds a mate, in which the two stick together and alone. Should the Liath not be hungry, anyone passing through their territory is free to go if they don't get lost by the haze of snow and aura of confusion. In any other circumstances, however, the Liath will chase down and devour anything it smells within its borders.
